Enthusiastic writers will no doubt be familiar with editorial style guides. The Economist's style guide is one that I find particularly helpful - particularly when explaining to law firm partners why 'partner' or 'head of ...' should be lower case!
But who knew the Government has its own. It is fascinating reading.
Jeremy Corbyn, for example, is leader of the opposition. No caps for him. He lives, although some might disagree, on Planet Earth (note caps). London's West End is afforded capitals, but the south east isn't.
A style guide is there to help communicate more clearly. It is well worth a read.
